About Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma

Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology at Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, where he has been shaping scientific minds since August 2007.

With an academic background spanning Ph.D. in Chronobiology/Zoology, M.Phil., M.Sc. in Parasitology, and GATE in Life Sciences (IIT Bombay), his research has traversed diverse and important domains of microbiology — from enteropathogens in neonates to antimicrobial resistance in ESBL-producing bacteria.

His research interests span medical microbiology, clinical immunology, edible vaccine development, biomarker research, and the interplay between environmental pollutants and biological systems. He has authored peer-reviewed articles on drug-resistant pathogens and contributed book chapters on cutting-edge biotechnology topics.

Beyond research, Dr. Sharma is celebrated for the Excellence Teaching Award (2020) and his dedicated participation in over 30 national workshops, webinars, and seminars covering COVID-19 impacts, environmental science, and biological research.
